In reading over the discussion board entries for Tweet, Tweet, it appears that many of us don't Tweet or blog because we don't have that much to say...publicly. What I'm finding from reviewing your blogs and our class wiki is that we do have something to say. I think we just needed this class to get us jump started. Not every post has to be deep, well informed or particularly interesting. :-)

ReplyDeleteWoo hoo!! I am glad to hear it because it is inhibiting to have to be profound 100% of the time!!
I don't know- if you are creating comment for public consumption, it should be something that you feel offers new insight, adds to a discussion, etc. There are too many tweets that are simply nonsense. This certainly isn't to say that my posts are well informed or particularly interesting!
ReplyDeleteI struggle with maintaining my personal, non-class blog because I'm never quite sure if what I write about is something that people will want to read. There is also the issue of how much information to I want to divulge in an open forum, is it okay to talk about people in my life or does that infringe on their privacy?
ReplyDeleteI find Facebook and Twitter easier to keep updated because they are such short bits of information that I guess I feel less pressure to be insightful or captivating.
